I am a firm believer of the power of cat purrs, Sandy. I read a similar study years ago. But the proof is in the pudding. I owned a cat named Sweetkins. I got her as a kitten after I had a major car accident. She slept with me day and night. We were inseparable. I truly believe I healed and recovered due to her unconditional love, purrs, playfulness, etc. I even named my childrenswear store after her. She is always with me.
