Thirteen Random semi-serious thoughts

1- My 2 dogs are well again , rough housing and got hurt badly 2 separate instances. I went into super Nurse mode..Blood all over house, still cleaning that .

2- My friend 92 passed on in Indiana . He even came back to see me at 86 after he moved back to his home. What an amazing man but his obit tells me he was even more amazing as he was a heavy bomber pilot for 3 yeas in World War II, my friend Dale. I am somewhat lonelier.

3-I have been buying on ebay some lately, fighting  constant  repairs and emergencies, I always scrimp but decided to buy gifts for everyone on ebay for the entire year. some bargains some not so but done .

4- Gas prices have gone up some 50 cents. Why??I learned that the least expensive states are closest to production in NW.(all far west) Also the taxes have risen on gas , 50 cents ,that is one reason !!~and now you know.

5-I love to do little things anonymously or just do them as surprises and am thrilled beyond all belief when they happen to me .Put a gift quietly on a porch or in yard- send flowers anonymously  love it ../Someone gave me a flan!!

6-Next week is Spring Break, normally like summer it is a lonely time for me but this year I have 2 girls needing tutoring and 1 ball game YAY!!

7-My favorite student has  entered pre teens and is getting full of drama and  bad behaviors. Her parents have chosen to ignore it - probably a good thing. She was my angel and it hurts me a lot.

8- One of my parents has received a giant refund - me never in my life,however they chose to tile their entire house .a great  idea. Every time they walk about on new tile , they will remember how hard they worked that year.

9-I find it so interesting how each political party is so sure theirs is the right one  when both have such great ideas..


10- My  son went antiquing in Buffalo , NY this weekend. Amazing how he has grown and expanded his interests in life at 38 years.I'd
 like to think I gave him that curious  open nature to all things. 


11-Making a birthday gift for a friend  I must admit I'm late  so I gave her an interim gift supporting our baseball team  restaurant discounts etc until I can put together a picture of her walking in moss which was the theme of her winning nature poem.It involves juxtaposing her picture into the moss and a dim green frame  and finding an engraver.


12 I took 5 spaghetti dinners to elderly shut ins  Wednesday  in support of a local middle school band Everyone was thrilled and it was a big meal, warm, 3 servings of spaghetti, green beans, dessert, cole slaw, roll,their 49th year making this meal, and the line was so long  1450 dinners sold and made by Rotary !!



13  I've given  up keeping my light tile clean - dogs cats black sand just do the best I can  - but other homes are so clean ????Baffles me  ...
